We are a campus based organization that is fully sponsored by Arlington Rotary and Rotary International. Our mission is to provide community linkages, leadership training, community service opportunities, and student led initiatives and projects that will demonstrate the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self". We encourage passion for compassion in addressing poverty, literacy, UN and UNICEF world wide goals to end strife, poverty, hunger, ill health, infant mortality, and a variety of other problems faced by so many in today's world.

We will be holiding Spring Elections for officerships and committes, and we pledge support of our membership to any and all Vassar clubs who may ever be in need of helping hands. We strongly believe in the International family as represented here at Vassar, and encourage all faiths, all cultures, and all ideas to help strengthen a diverse approach to problem identification and strategic planning for viable solutions to those needs.

Past projects: Vassar Radio Show "International Rythmns" hosted by Margarita Capi; Breakfast in Bed for the hard studying dorm-bound, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Literacy Connections, Spelling Bee for Literacy, Operation Donation, Interact Clubs of Dutchess County, Rotaract at SUNY @ DCC, Mural Project for Nubian Directions of Poughkeepsie, Youthbuild of Poughkeepsie, and UN Day particpation annually as Rotary International is full partners withe the UN and the only non-country member.

NEEDED: DJ Co-Host for Radio Rotary, a weekly radio show on WHVW 950 am (Fridays at Noon); Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors for next year's Board of Directors and membership in general; BOCES Liaisons to mentor Special Ed and Alternative Ed students near Vassar campus; Guests on Radio Rotary who have worked on community projects and would like to share experiences; and lastly, anyone who would like to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate than themselves.
